Coffee Dealer makes its Wild a Coffee Cup that can open into a whole reel. The cup opens if that reel, turned Wild, would complete a winning line, and every further cup that drops onto it lifts the reel's multiplier by 1, up to x10. It is a Hacksaw Gaming game from October 2026 with 19 paylines across a 5x5 grid, and its maker's demo loads here for free, no registration or deposit. The studio scores its volatility 4 out of 5, and a round can pay at most 10,000x the bet.

All 500 logged spins, every frame and our bought Mug Life were played at €2.00, the window's default stake. The rules we quote are from GAME INFO as client 1.15.2 shows it.
Why does one Coffee Cup open into a Wild reel while another stays put?
A cup opens only when its whole reel, turned Wild, would be part of a win. If no line can use it, it stays a single symbol, and 45 of our 500 spins showed a cup without opening one. Once a reel opens, 0 to 9 more cups drop onto it and each adds 1 to its multiplier, so a Wild Coffee Reel is worth x1 to x10. Our 34 open reels outside the free spins ranged from x1 to x9. Reels above x1 in the same win add up, which is how spin 358 paid three lines at x6 from an x2 and an x4.
Cups that stay cups unless a line needs them
GAME INFO makes the Coffee Cup, a scowling mug on a green tile, a Wild for every paytable symbol, and its reel is tried as a full Wild column before any win is paid. A reel takes one cup at a time. It never takes one in a spin where an FS symbol has landed on it.

The stack of cups on an open reel is its multiplier. In our log 34 reels opened over 32 base spins, most often at x3 (10 times), and none got to x10.

An x1 reel adds nothing when open reels share a win. Spin 143 paid a line of four through x5 and x2 reels at x7, €14.00, while on free spin 4 of spin 13 five lines crossed an x2 reel and an x1 reel and were all paid at x2.
Outside the free spins our 500 spins returned €412.40, and €285.00 of it (69%) came on spins with a Wild Coffee Reel. Plain lines pay little. Five wads of banknotes, the top picture, are worth 6x.

Mug Life on the clip, the other two on paper
Mug Life takes three FS symbols at once and plays 10 free spins with more Coffee Cups. With four you get Brewfather, 8 free spins in which a reel that opens stays activated and gets a cup on every later spin. Five lead to Espresso Empire, 10 spins with at least two cups each, and the buy menu has no card for it.

Our bought round opened with three blank spins, the third leaving a closed cup on reel 4. On the fourth, reel 2 opened at x1 and reel 4 at x4, its label climbing from 2x as the cups piled up.

Only the 4x counted, for €4.00. Lines of €0.40 and €0.80 followed, and on the ninth spin reels 2 and 4 opened again, both at x1, for €3.00.
The round gave back 4.1x the bet for an 80x purchase. The Mug Life that landed by itself in the 80 spins we played for the frames paid less still, €1.20.

43.8% back, with one Mug Life that paid nothing
Not one of the 500 spins was bought. Of the log's 6 wins of 10x or more, one was a bonus and five were base spins, each with an open reel.
Both bonuses were Mug Life. Spin 13 got €8.00 on its first free spin from reel 1 at x4, then €4.00 on the second and €14.00 on the fourth, and the last six added nothing. After that 13x round the balance stood at €5,009.00 and never went higher.
Spin 416 paid a €1.00 line beside its three FS symbols. Ten blank free spins followed, with cups on the first, fifth and tenth that stayed shut.
Our best spin of all, 18x on spin 358, was a base spin. Never more than 14 spins in a row went unpaid, and the log ended on €4,438.40, a low it had first touched on spin 499.
One Coffee Breath spin costs more than a whole Mug Life
Two cards are FeatureSpins, billed on each spin until you turn them off. With BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x, a bonus is 5 times as likely to trigger. Coffee Breath at 100x guarantees at least two Coffee Cups a spin, and each of them still opens only for a win.
| Option | Price | At €2.00 | RTP | Volatility |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game | 3x per spin | €6.00 | 96.30% | High |
| Coffee Breath FeatureSpins Each spin guarantees that at least 2 Coffee Cup symbols land | 100x per spin | €200.00 | 96.34% | High |
| Mug Life 10 free spins with a higher chance of landing Coffee Cup symbols | 80x | €160.00 | 96.33% | High |
| Brewfather 8 free spins where activated reels guarantee Coffee Cup symbols every spin | 200x | €400.00 | 96.30% | Very high |
Bought outright, Mug Life costs 80x and Brewfather 200x. The demo here plays at 96.29%. Hacksaw's other published versions, 94.38%, 92.25% and 86.33%, may be what a casino runs. According to OLBG, UK players get only the FeatureSpins.

Smaller rules around the cups and FS symbols
Everything here is from GAME INFO, and three of the six answers add what our spins showed.
Does a Coffee Cup that stays closed pay anything?
No. It stays closed only when no line could use it, so it ends the spin outside every win, like the cup on reel 4 in our bought round.
Can two Coffee Cups land on the same reel?
Only one lands per drop, and none on a reel holding an FS symbol. More cups fall onto a reel after it opens, and they set its multiplier.
Is x10 the limit for a whole win?
No, it caps one reel. Open reels in the same win add their values above x1, so a line can pass x10, though our highest sum was x7.
How long does an activated reel last in Brewfather?
To the end of the bonus. Each reel where a cup has opened gets a Coffee Cup on every later spin.
Do extra FS symbols add spins inside a bonus?
Yes, in every one of the three. Two FS symbols bring 2 more free spins, three bring 4. None of our four Mug Life rounds got any.
Can Coffee Breath FeatureSpins start a bonus?
No. FS symbols cannot land in that mode, so each 100x spin brings cups but never a scatter.
A cousin of Hot Ross, not its sequel
Bigwinboard and OLBG both point to Hot Ross, another 5x5 game on 19 paylines, whose cat Wilds stretch down their reels and whose bonuses start with three, four or five FS. Hacksaw's own page for Coffee Dealer never mentions it.
Multipliers differ. A Hot Ross cat must stretch through a plain Wild to reach 2x to 200x, while a cup builds x1 to x10 from the cups that fall on it. Hot Ross also caps higher, 15,000x, at volatility 5. Brewfather's activated reels go back further, to the Maxx Bonus of RIP City, also 200x.
Whatever paid well in our 500 spins came through an open reel. Seven spins in ten returned nothing, and the three Mug Life rounds that landed by themselves gave 13x, nothing and 0.6x, a spread that fits the 4 out of 5 Hacksaw gives its volatility.
