Three Unholy symbols collected during a single base round start one of the two bonus games in Dark Summoning. If an Order symbol is on the grid at that moment it is Rise to Salvation, and if not, Trial by Hellfire. Both turn up in Hacksaw's free version further down, which can be opened without registration. Hacksaw Gaming released the game in December 2023 on a 5x6 grid (five reels of six rows) with 24 paylines and Super Cascades, and no win can pass 10,666x the bet.

A hooded skeleton waits left of the grid and a horned figure right, while collected Unholy crosses are pinned to the stone lintel above the reels. Our stake throughout was the €2.00 that client 1.29.3 opens with, on €5,000.00 of play money.
Which bonus follows the third Unholy symbol?
One symbol settles it. Three Unholy crosses collected in the same base round start Trial by Hellfire; if an Order symbol is on the grid when the third is collected, Rise to Salvation starts instead. Each gives 10 free spins. GAME INFO describes no pick screen, no gamble and no retrigger. Both natural bonuses in our log, on spins 330 and 434, had no Order present and were Trial by Hellfire.
Three crosses in one round, with or without an Order
Unholy symbols never land on reels 1 or 2. One that arrives with a win moves to the top-right corner and stays for the round, meaning one paid spin and its cascades. Three landing together are taken even without a win.

Most rounds run out of cascades first. Of our 500 paid spins, 152 ended with one cross in the corner and 57 with two, all of them lost when the next spin began. Only spins 330 and 434 reached three.

An Order works on any base spin, crosses or not. It turns itself and 1 to 9 other symbols into Wilds, which may carry multipliers, and two Orders on one spin act twice. We logged 75 of them on 70 spins: 42 of the 71 that landed alone changed one other symbol, and none changed more than 4.

Super Cascades on lines instead of clusters
A paying line removes more than the line. Super Cascade marks every symbol of the winning kind, pays, clears the marked symbols and drops in new ones until a drop brings no win. Lines pay three to five of a kind from the left on 24 fixed patterns.

Le Bandit and Dusk Princess, both reviewed here, use the same rule on 6x5 clusters. On paylines it also clears symbols of the winning kind from squares no line was using.
Blue Wilds play in the base game and Rise to Salvation, red ones in Trial by Hellfire, and the two behave alike. Outside Rise to Salvation any Wild may carry 2x to 100x.

Five Wilds pay 30x, three times the goat's 10x. In our base game every multiplied Wild came from an Order: 10 at 2x and a single 3x, on spin 124.
Hellfire marks first, Wilds second
In Trial by Hellfire every square in a win is marked with Hellfire, and the marks stay. The next Unholy to land starts Fires of Hell: it and every marked square become red Wilds, with or without multipliers, the marks are cleared, and wins before the next cascade make no new ones. Orders do not appear.

Our one purchase cost €260.00, and TOTAL WIN stood at €4.60 when that Unholy landed.

Cascades then paid in pieces, and at one point €150.00 flashed over a grid the removals had nearly emptied. MEGA WIN read €159.60, 79.8x the bet, and TOTAL WIN closed at €166.00 after 10 spins, 83x against a 130x price.
The natural bonus from spin 434 went much further. Eight free spins made €4.80; on the ninth, Fires of Hell turned 15 squares into Wilds carrying 20x, 10x and 5x, and five Wilds on the 20x line paid €1,200.00 alone. That bonus ended at €1,645.00, the one from spin 330 at €25.60.
Rise to Salvation drops its symbols upward
Nothing we played reached the second bonus, so this part comes from the rules screens alone. Symbols cascade upward, no Unholy appears and Wilds carry no multipliers.

Lost Souls take over the multiplying. Each one stays, rises with the cascades and Ascends at the top row, adding 2x to 100x to a global multiplier on every win or paying 10x to 666x the bet, times that multiplier.
The card costs 250x, against 130x for Trial by Hellfire, and is labelled High instead of Very high. By the rules, the 10,666x cap is open in both bonuses and in the base game.
A losing log until spin 434
Our €2.00 session drifted down for 433 spins.
The balance touched €4,564.00 on spin 433. Then came three crosses and €1,647.80, 823.9x, and the log closed at €6,147.40, a 214.7% return on €1,000.00. That one round turned a losing session into a winning one: the other 499 spins returned €499.60, half the stake.
Hits came on 32.2% of spins and the median hit was 1x. Spins with an Order, 70 in all, made €216.60 out of €476.80 in base-game wins. The best of them, number 47 at 15.5x, had three Order Wilds, one at 2x, feeding 14 line wins.
Hellfire at 130x, Salvation at 250x
Three cards sit behind BUY BONUS. BonusHunt FeatureSpins costs 3x a spin and runs until switched off; the other two each buy a named bonus, so Rise to Salvation needs no Order there.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game | 3x per spin | €6.00 | 96.33% | Very high |

| Rise to Salvation 10 free spins in the Rise to Salvation bonus game | 250x | €500.00 | 96.42% | High |
This demo runs the 96.36% version, with the three cards between 96.33% and 96.42%. Hacksaw's game page also lists 94.34%, 92.22% and 88.28%, any of which an operator may run, and wherever buying a bonus is not allowed the menu is switched off.

Our Hellfire purchase returned a little under two thirds of its price.

With natural rounds of 13x and 823.9x in the same log, a single bought 83x is no guide to what the card pays on average.
Crosses and Orders, case by case
GAME INFO settles the rules below, and our log supplies the counts.
Which special symbol is missing from each bonus?
Orders never appear in Trial by Hellfire, Unholy symbols never in Rise to Salvation.
How many squares does one Order turn Wild?
Itself plus 1 to 9 other symbols, by GAME INFO, though no lone Order in our log changed more than 4.
Does the third Unholy have to land on the first drop?
No. Crosses collect across all the cascades of one paid spin. Spin 434 in our log took one on each of its first three drops.
Does BonusHunt favour one of the two bonuses?
No. Its card says each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game, and which one follows is still down to the Order rule.
Can a bonus end before its tenth spin?
Only at the cap. Reaching 10,666x ends the round at once and the remaining free spins are discarded.
This game is decided in the corner of the lintel. Our 500 spins filled it twice, both times as Trial by Hellfire, and one of those rounds outweighed the rest of the log. Rise to Salvation stayed on paper. Life and Death, also rated 4 out of 5 by Hacksaw, spreads its multipliers over four Horsemen instead.
