Dr Zappo turns on one symbol, an EyeBall that lands on the bottom row and shoots the paying symbols in its path into Wilds. Around it Hacksaw Gaming built a 5x4 slot with 14 paylines, released in September 2026, three bonuses of 10 free spins and a ceiling of 10,000x the bet. The studio's build plays in the window below at no cost and without registration or a download, on the 96.31% version, and Hacksaw rates the volatility 3 of 5.

The panel left of the reels, offering a fivefold bonus chance for €6.00, is a switch, not an advert. We left it off for all 500 logged spins, the frames and the clip below, which were played at €2.00, the stake client 1.50.0 opens with.
What happens to the symbols an EyeBall passes through?
They turn Wild. Once the grid settles, each EyeBall on the bottom row fires straight up or diagonally left or right, left to right in order, and every paying symbol on its path becomes a Wild, some of them with an additive multiplier between 2x and 200x. A Wild already on the path gains a multiplier instead, and the EyeBall itself ends as a Wild. When two Wild Multipliers share a winning line, their values are added before the win is multiplied. An Energy Field on the left, top or right edge bounces the shot onward.
Row 4, three directions, one Wild per square
GAME INFO allows the EyeBall on the 4th row and nowhere else, and an EyeBall and an FS symbol never land together. It waits until the reels stop, then fires. A symbol it crosses can stay a plain Wild or show a value from the list 2x, 3x up to 10x, followed by 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 200x.
Hitting something already special changes the result. An existing Wild gains a multiplier, a Wild Multiplier gets another value added to it, and an EyeBall struck by another EyeBall adds a value as well. The biggest multiplier in our log, 7x, sat on a Wild in the eighth free spin of the bonus from spin 473, and that spin paid nothing.

That frame is from our on-screen play, 14.1x the bet from one base spin. In the 500-spin log an EyeBall appeared on 11 base spins, about one in 45, and those 11 paid €67.60. None of them left a Wild Multiplier above 3x.
Energy Fields, and why reel 1 shoots short
The three Energy Fields sit on the left, top and right edges. A diagonal shot that meets one rebounds at the same angle and keeps converting symbols. A shot that meets a field straight on comes back the way it went, adding multiplier values to the Wilds it made on the way up.
Our log shows where the top field reaches. Every straight-up shot from reels 2, 3 and 4 crossed the three squares above, hit the field and came back down. Shots from reel 1 or reel 5 crossed three squares and stopped. A diagonal can run much further, and on spin 100 an EyeBall on reel 4 fired up and to the right, bounced off the right, top and left fields in turn, and turned 6 squares Wild.

That zigzag paid €17.00. Payouts still depend on the 14 lines, which all run left to right from reel 1: the four rows, then V shapes and zigzags. Card ranks 10 to A pay 0.1x for three and 1x for five. The ray gun and the bomb pay 0.5x to 2x, the creature in a jar and the robot head 1x to 3x, the pink-haired monster 2x to 5x. Five Wilds pay 5x.

Four multiplied Wilds and no win: no line found three matching symbols from reel 1, and a Wild on reel 4 cannot start one. Spin 100 of our log worked the other way, five Wilds lining up for 5x on their own inside a 10.6x spin, the best of the base game.
Ten spins, then two more for two FS
Each bonus starts with 10 free spins. Three FS give Eyeconic, which keeps the base rules but lands EyeBalls more often, and four give No-Brainer, where every activated EyeBall shoots in two directions. Inside those two, two FS together are worth 2 more spins and three are worth 4. It's Electrifying, the 5 FS round, guarantees at least one EyeBall per free spin, and no FS can land in it.

We bought Eyeconic for the clip at €100.00. An EyeBall came on the first spin and left the zigzag above, two FS later added two more spins, and the round ran 12 free spins for €28.20, 14.1x the bet.
All three natural bonuses were Eyeconic too, 10 spins each with no extra FS. EyeBalls landed on 13 of their 30 spins, against one base spin in 45, in line with the higher chance the rules describe.
11 EyeBalls in 500 base spins
Line wins came often and stayed small: 44.4% of spins returned something, the median being 0.5x, and no dry run lasted longer than 11 spins.
From €5,000.00 the balance fell and never climbed back above it, reaching its low of €4,472.20 on spin 468. The 497 spins without a bonus returned €330.80, and all 3 base spins worth 5x or more had an EyeBall. The three bonuses paid 18.5x, 31.6x and 24.5x, the best on spin 284.
In all, the session returned 48% of the €1,000.00 staked and closed at €4,480.00. With 11 EyeBalls in the base game and no multiplier there above 3x, plain line wins carried most of our sample.
€6.00 for a fivefold chance, €200.00 for two EyeBalls
The €6.00 switch and the first card are the same thing. BonusHunt costs 3x the bet per spin, €6.00 at our stake, multiplies the chance of a bonus by 5 and returns 96.3% by GAME INFO, 96.30% on the server. At our rate of 3 bonuses in 500 spins that would mean one every 33 spins or so, at three times the cost per spin, if the rate held.
| Option | Price | At €2.00 | RTP | Volatility |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game | 3x per spin | €6.00 | 96.30% | Medium |
| Zigzag Zappo FeatureSpins Each spin guarantees that at least 2 EyeBall symbols land | 100x per spin | €200.00 | 96.30% | High |
| Eyeconic 10 free spins with an increased chance of landing EyeBall symbols | 50x | €100.00 | 96.34% | Medium |
| No-Brainer 10 free spins with EyeBall symbols shooting in two different directions | 200x | €400.00 | 96.29% | Medium |
Zigzag Zappo FeatureSpins charges 100x a spin for at least two EyeBalls, and FS symbols are shut out while it runs. Eyeconic costs 50x and No-Brainer 200x, and It's Electrifying has no card. Zigzag Zappo is the only card labelled High volatility, the other three Medium.

Our window runs the 96.31% version. Hacksaw publishes only rounded figures, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%, and casino listings put the lower three at 94.36%, 92.31% and 86.22%. A casino may install any of them, and some countries hide the buy menu entirely.

The same frame as 6 other reviews here
Its 5x4 grid and 14 paylines are shared with Beast Below, The Luxe, 2 Wild 2 Die, Nitro Nights, Fist of Destruction and Epic SixSixSix.
The closest is Fist of Destruction: its Fist grows up its own reel into a Wild reel, multiplier values run over the same list from 2x to 200x, and two or three extra FS in a bonus also add 2 or 4 spins. There the multiplier comes from what the Fist punches. Here a new Wild can reveal one by itself, and a second hit adds to it.
In 2 Wild 2 Die the Revolvers fire at random squares, so a Wild can appear anywhere. An EyeBall's path is fixed by its reel and direction, which is why reel 4 can fill with multipliers and still miss every line.
Can an EyeBall land in the top three rows?
No. GAME INFO lets it land only on the 4th row, and every EyeBall in our 500 spins sat there.
Can FS symbols and an EyeBall land on the same spin?
No. GAME INFO forbids it, so a spin with an EyeBall cannot start a bonus.
How many extra spins do FS symbols give inside Eyeconic?
Two FS on one spin add 2 free spins and three add 4. Our bought Eyeconic got two and ran 12 spins.
What does the €6.00 sign beside the grid do?
It switches on BonusHunt Mode: the stake rises to 3x the bet and the bonus chance goes up fivefold, exactly like the BonusHunt card. It stays on until you switch it off.
Which bonus gives an EyeBall on every free spin?
It's Electrifying, the hidden bonus for 5 FS. It keeps the double shots of No-Brainer, and no FS can land in it. It cannot be bought.
Does Zigzag Zappo FeatureSpins ever start a bonus?
No. While it is active the reels cannot show an FS symbol, so its spins bring EyeBalls but never a bonus.
Dr Zappo is a lines game built around the EyeBall. Most spins go without one, and the 14 lines alone pay little. When it does land, the reel matters: in our log straight shots from reels 2 to 4 came back down adding multipliers, while those from reels 1 and 5 stopped after three squares.
