Vending Machine keeps a multiplier on a tab at the left end of each of its five rows, and only a Lightning Bolt switches one on. Hacksaw Gaming released it in July 2023: a 5x5 grid paying left to right on 35 paylines, with a popcorn wild and a cap of 5,000x the bet. Lit rows add their values to any win that crosses them, and both bonus rounds run until every light is out. Hacksaw's own demo below lets you feed the machine for free, and it asks for no registration.

A light at the end of every row
Each base spin starts with every tab dark at a random 2x to 10x. A Lightning Bolt lights its row, and a win touching lit rows is multiplied by their summed values, each row once. Every winning symbol adds 1 to its row, lit or not. A green x2 Multiplier Boost doubles its row, the orange Epic one doubles all five, and a Blackout Skull turns its row off.
The draw usually lands low: of the 2,500 starting values in our log, 1,642 were 2x and 9 were 10x. Bolts lit a row on 306 spins, but only 81 of them had a win crossing one. Spin 234 shows the chain: rows lit at 3x and 2x, a €0.20 win on both worth €1.00 that pushed them to 5x and 3x, then a five-symbol line worth €12.00 across both for €96.00. Total €97.00, 48.5x.
What does it take to start a Vending Machine bonus?
Three FS symbols landing together in the base game start Lo-Fi Spins with 3 rows of multiplier lights switched on; four start Spin and Chill with all 5 lit. Neither has a set length: each runs until every row is dark again. All four natural bonuses in our 500 logged spins, and the one on the first spin of our filmed session, came from three FS symbols. The buy menu sells the two rounds at 100x and 200x the bet.
Bonus rounds that end in the dark
GAME INFO gives no spin count, and the FREE SPINS box shows 1 throughout. In every round we logged or filmed, all five tabs began at 2x and kept their values between free spins. GAME INFO names these two modes for the 5,000x cap.
That spin opened Lo-Fi Spins. The first 17 free spins made €27.40; on the last, the tabs read 12x, 14x, 11x, 9x and 5x, with only the 11x row still on.
Four ice lollies, wild included, are worth €4.00, so the 11x row made it €44.00. The skull then put out the last light, and the round closed at €71.40 after 18 free spins, 35.7x the bet.
A log that broke almost even
Our scripted run on 24 October 2026 covered 500 paid spins at €2.00, with the buy menu left alone.
Spin 114 marked the bottom, €4,931.00; five spins later came the best of four Lo-Fi Spins rounds, 111.3x, and the run ended 98.9% returned. The rounds lasted 10, 17, 8 and 18 free spins. The weakest, spin 147, shows the catch: a Multiplier Boost doubled the second row from 11x to 22x, no bolt ever lit it, and the round paid 4.7x.

When no more wins are possible, Remove & Cascade may clear the four low symbols for a fresh drop. It came 44 times and paid after 17; on spin 22 it brought two five-symbol bubble tea lines in a spin worth €85.40, with no row lit.
Two prices, three rows or five

Our €200.00 Lo-Fi Spins opened with three rows at 2x and lasted 13 free spins. The best paid €19.80; the total was €36.00, 18x the bet.
Their RTPs run from 96.18% to 96.25%. None of our natural bonuses had four FS symbols, so we have not seen Spin and Chill.

Does a dark row still count up?
Yes. Every winning symbol adds 1 to its row, lit or not, but a dark row multiplies nothing until a Lightning Bolt lands on it.
What happens to the tabs when a bonus starts?
In all six bonus rounds we logged or filmed, every tab was set to 2x with three rows lit, and the values then carried over between free spins.
How is a Multiplier Boost different from the Epic one?
The green Multiplier Boost doubles the row it lands on; the orange Epic Multiplier Boost doubles all five. Our 500 base spins showed eight green ones and no orange.
Which symbols does Remove & Cascade clear?
Toast, the wrapped sweet, chewing gum and the lollipop.
Same 5x5 frame as RIP City
Hacksaw put RIP City on the same grid six months earlier, with 19 paylines and multipliers on stretching Wild Cats. It paid on 19.2% of our logged spins, Vending Machine on 45.2%.
Next to Cloud Princess the difference is where the multipliers live: there they drift in as symbols, here they sit on rows a bolt has to wake.
Vending Machine pays little and often, then leans on its bonuses: free spins made €339.00 of our €989.20. Each bonus lasts as long as its lights outlive the skulls, and neither filmed round reached the €200.00 a Lo-Fi Spins costs; two rounds cannot judge that price.
