Each win counts one symbol on three to six adjacent reels from the left, and every combination of positions counts as a way. Pays are small, in x the bet from the €2.00 paytable, and there is no Wild.

Coins drop in among these symbols, two on reel 1 of the opening board, but in our 500 logged spins none of them paid outside Raid Spins, as GAME INFO implies: it reveals coin values only when Raid Spins or a bonus ends.
Raid Spins, three lives at a time
Six Coins of any colour lock in place, the paying symbols leave, and only skulls, Coins, Diamonds and Green or Gold Clovers can land. Neither Le Bandit nor Le Pharaoh has a round started by coins.
Each re-spin costs one of three lives; any Coin, Diamond or Clover refills all three and sticks. Values stay hidden until the end, when Bronze reveals 0.2x up to 4x, Silver 5x up to 20x, Gold 25x, 50x or 100x and Diamonds 150x, 250x or 500x. Clovers act last: Green multiplies neighbouring Coins and Diamonds by x2 to x20, Gold does it to all of them.
That made 21.3x the bet. Our 500-spin log had three more, on spins 285, 359 and 412, paying 21.5x, 28.7x and 20x.
What ends Raid Spins in Le Viking?
Three re-spins in a row that bring nothing but skulls, the dead symbols. Raid Spins starts with 3 lives; every re-spin uses one, and a Coin, Diamond or Clover of any kind refills all three. Only when the mode ends are the coin values revealed and multiplied. In our log the Raid Spins on spin 412 lasted 18 re-spins: three times a symbol arrived on the last life, and it ended with 14 Coins and one Green Clover, worth €40.00.
Four bonuses that run on lives
How many FS symbols land decides the bonus, and each scatter leaves a sticky Grid Multiplier on its square. All four start with three refilling lives instead of a spin count.

Inside, paying symbols and scatters are gone. Coins, Diamonds and Clovers stick, a Heart raises the life limit by one up to five, and a Magic Cauldron fires every Grid Multiplier and Clover as it lands, then pulls all Coins, Diamonds and older Cauldrons into itself, once.
Any symbol other than a skull refills the lives to their limit. When they run out, values are revealed, multiplied where Grid Multipliers and Clovers reach, and added up.
The coins opened at €6, €2, €10, €50 and €10; the three Clovers and the two occupied Grid Multipliers did the rest. The €50 Gold Coin, 25x, was tripled and then doubled twice, ending as €600 drawn as a Diamond. With the €4.20 trigger win, TOTAL WIN read €730.20 when the 12th free spin ended, 365.1x the bet.

Our session logged 500 paid spins at €2.00 against Hacksaw's demo server and kept every answer.
Back came 239%, mostly from three bonuses. Berserk arrived on spin 10, right after the low of €4,987.40, and paid €414.00 over 22 free spins; another on spin 205 paid €707.00 over 25.
Spin 431 brought four FS symbols: Valkyrie, four x3 squares, 41 free spins. On the 17th a Magic Cauldron collected 54x the bet. At the end two Green Clovers doubled it twice, to 216x, and a 25x Gold Coin on an x3 square, doubled by one of them, made 150x. Total: €898.00, 449x.
Without the bonuses the sample returns 37.1%: €231.00 in way wins plus €140.40 from Raid Spins. 37.8% of spins returned something, half of those wins 0.4x or less, and no dry spell passed 15 spins.

Of the four cards, two charge per spin until DISABLE is pressed; two are one-off bonuses. Valkyrie and Journey to Valhalla are absent, so x3 and x10 squares need a natural four or six FS.

What Smokey brought from Paris and Egypt
What it shares with the older games: the raccoon, the 6x5 frame, the Bronze and Silver Coin values, and Green and Gold Clovers of x2 to x20 as in Le Pharaoh.
Three refilling lives with sticky coins already ran the Lost Treasures bonus of Le Pharaoh; Le Viking brings them into the base game and builds every bonus on them.
The rest is new. Clusters, Golden Squares and the Rainbow are gone, Gold Coins stop at 100x with Diamonds above them, and the Magic Cauldron also fires the multipliers, which no Pot of Gold does. The cap matches Le Bandit at 10,000x.

Does the max win apply to Raid Spins too?
Yes. The 10,000x cap can be reached in every mode, Raid Spins included; hitting it stops the round at once and drops any spins left.
Do Grid Multipliers multiply a Magic Cauldron?
No. A Cauldron never lands on one, and a Grid Multiplier only touches its own square. Clovers can: two beside the Cauldron in our Valkyrie took it from 54x to 216x.
How many lives can a bonus have?
Three at the start; each Heart adds one, up to five, and then Hearts stop appearing. Raid Spins has no Hearts.
What do the skulls do?
Nothing. They are the dead symbols of Raid Spins and the bonuses; a spin of only skulls costs a life and refills none.
Do base-game Coins pay on their own?
Not in our log: in 500 logged spins no base-game coin paid outside Raid Spins. GAME INFO points the same way, revealing coin values only when Raid Spins or a bonus ends.
Does Raider FeatureSpins switch itself off?
No. Every spin is charged 30x the bet until you press DISABLE.
What the lives system changes
Le Viking trades Le Bandit's readable cascades for a slower tension: a feature lasts while symbols keep arriving, and nothing is counted until the last life goes, so length says little about size. Our longest Raid Spins, 18 re-spins, paid 20x; a 12-spin Berserk on screen paid 365.1x. Hacksaw's own scale puts it at 3 of 5; read our 239% as the luck of one sample, not a forecast.
