Released October 2026Demo client 1.43.1
Wicked Grin pays for six or more matching symbols anywhere on a 5x5 grid, with no lines and no Wild. Bigger wins come from a grinning skull symbol, which opens once it reaches the bottom row and turns its whole reel into Coins worth up to 500x the bet, or a Multiplier. Out since October 2026, and free here in the original studio client with no registration, it has a volatility of 3 out of 5 in Hacksaw's rating. A round stops at 10,000x the bet.

The bottom row glows red in the demo above, and that is where a grin opens. Both the 500-spin log and our bought Stash N Stack ran at €2.00, the stake client 1.43.1 starts on.
What comes out of a Wicked Grin, and why only on the bottom row?
A reel of Coins, sometimes with a Multiplier among them. The grin opens from the bottom row, after every symbol win and cascade of the spin is paid. Each square of its reel then becomes a Coin worth 1x to 500x the bet or a Multiplier of x2 to x20, which multiplies the Coins above it and in higher rows beside it. Higher up, a grin stays shut unless a Super Wicked Grin opens. Of our 500 spins, 33 showed a Wicked Grin on the first drop and 7 opened one.
Suits and fruit paid by count, from six up
Each win clears its symbols away, and replacements fall into the gaps until one drop pays nothing. At least one cascade came on 253 of our 500 spins. Card suits pay 0.1x for six or seven and 25x for 17 or more.

Half of all spins paid something (50.8%), with 0.4x as the median win. Outside the free spins symbol wins brought €329.00.
A grin has to reach the floor first
The grin itself is a skull face with red eyes on a silver disc. Once it opens, its reel shows Coins or a Multiplier. Bronze Coins pay 1x to 4x the bet, silver ones 5x to 9x, gold ones 10x to 50x and diamonds 100x to 500x.

Cascades carried most grins down in our log, 5 of the 7 that opened. On spin 218 a grin landed on row 2 of reel 4 and reached the floor with the first cascade. It sat there while three more cascades paid, then opened for €28.00. At 14.9x, that was our best base spin.
A Multiplier, a purple disc with an X, multiplies every Coin above it and the Coins in higher rows of the neighbouring reels. It never lands on the top row. Several of them count one at a time, left to right and top to bottom.

The Super Wicked Grin, a gold disc with yellow eyes, also opens other grins where they stand. GAME INFO extends this to every one on the grid, Hacksaw's game page to those on adjacent reels. Ours turned up twice, in spin 16 and in the free spins of spin 34, never on the bottom row. Base-game Coins stayed small, 1x to 5x across all 34, and the open reels paid €130.00.
Stashes that grow and a Collector that keeps
FS symbols also wait for the floor. When one sits there, GAME INFO has every FS on the grid spread over its reel with a 1, 2 or 3 on each square, and the numbers add up to the free spins, 5 to 30. A plain FS leads to Stash N Stack, a Super FS to Coin Craze, and the two never share the grid.

In Stash N Stack every reel has a Stash, starting at x1, that multiplies the Coins of a grin opening there and then grows by 1. Coin Craze puts a Coin Collector over each reel instead, starting at 1, which banks every Coin value until the end, when all are added and paid. Further FS add 5 to 15 spins each, 30 at most.
Our purchase gave 7 free spins. Four brought €6.80 in symbol wins, and on the fifth a grin opened reel 3.

Its Coins of 7x, 2x, 1x, 2x and 2x, 14x under x1, paid €28.00 and lifted the Stash above reel 3 to x2, a value never used, as reel 3 did not open again. The last spin opened reel 5 into 1x, 3x, 7x, 2x and 5x, 18x under x1, for €36.00.
The purchase cost 80x and returned 36.4x the bet.

One 94x Stash N Stack and a long slide after it
No purchase and no Super FS appear in the log, so both bonuses were Stash N Stack.
Spin 34 put its FS straight on the bottom row of reel 3, worth 7 free spins. Reel 2 opened on the first for €32.00 and again on the third, when two x2 Multipliers and the x2 Stash turned a 2x Coin at the top into 16x and the reel into 28x, €56.00. Reel 4 added €92.00 on the last spin of the 94x round. The chart's balance line tops out there, at €5,183.20.
Spin 473 took longer. Its FS dropped onto the top row of reel 4 with the first cascade and needed four more to reach the floor. Six free spins followed, and one reel of Coins, €36.00, made most of its 21.3x.
Losing spins never came more than 10 in a row, yet the balance drifted down. It closed at its low, €4,686.60, on spin 500.
Grinny FeatureSpins: a grin on every spin, never an FS
Grinny FeatureSpins, 50x per spin, guarantees at least one grin of either type but not where it lands, and no FS can appear while it runs. BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x raises the bonus chance fivefold and is the one card rated above High for volatility.
| Option | Price | At €2.00 | RTP | Volatility |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game | 3x per spin | €6.00 | 96.39% | Very high |
| Grinny FeatureSpins Each spin guarantees that at least 1 type of Wicked Grin symbol lands | 50x per spin | €100.00 | 96.23% | High |
| Stash N Stack At least 5 free spins with a Stash above each reel that multiplies Coin values | 80x | €160.00 | 96.26% | High |
| Coin Craze At least 5 free spins with a Coin Collector that saves all Coin values | 200x | €400.00 | 96.28% | High |
For at least 5 free spins, Stash N Stack costs 80x and Coin Craze 200x. The demo is set to 96.27%. A casino's copy may instead run one of Hacksaw's other published versions, 94.32%, 92.28% or 86.28%. Some markets get the game without this menu.

Super or Epic, plus three more rule checks
Hacksaw's game page and the GAME INFO screens part ways on two of these, while the other two rest on the rules, one with a case from our log.
Is it called the Super or the Epic Wicked Grin?
Both mean the gold symbol with yellow eyes: Hacksaw's game page says Super, the GAME INFO screens in the demo say Epic.
Does a Multiplier change the Coins below it?
No, only Coins above it and in higher rows beside it. On free spin 7 of our spin 34, a 10x Coin under an x2 Multiplier stayed at 10x.
What does a Stash do after its reel pays?
It goes up by 1 for the next free spin and keeps that value until the reel opens again.
Can a Wicked Grin open away from the bottom row?
Only when a Super Wicked Grin opens, and then where it stands. In GAME INFO that reaches every grin on the grid, on Hacksaw's game page only grins on adjacent reels.
Next to Chaos Crew and Pray for Three
Bigwinboard calls Coin Craze "Chaos Crew-ish". Chaos Crew keeps a counter above every reel in its free spins, as both bonuses here do, but pays on 15 paylines.
The same review likens the art to Pray for Three, a 5x5 game on 3,125 ways.
Our symbol wins kept the balance ticking over while the grins decided where it ended up. Open reels and the two bonuses made €357.60 of the €686.60 returned. A best spin of 94x sits comfortably with Hacksaw's 3 out of 5.
