Eye of the Panda · Hacksaw Gaming · RTP 96.26% · max win 10,000x · checked on the demo server
Released October 2023Demo client 1.17.2
Hacksaw Gaming launched Eye of the Panda in October 2023 with 27 paylines on a 5x5 grid and built it around Wild Panda Multipliers. Each Panda is a Wild worth x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10, and two or more in one win multiply each other. A round can pay 10,000x the bet at most, and you can try for that at no charge below, in Hacksaw's own demo, with no registration form.

Can a Panda that misses a win still pay later?
Yes, in Never Say No to Panda!, and only there. A Panda that is not part of a win goes into one of five Collector spaces beside the reels, and is lost if all five are taken. When a spin has a winning line, saved Pandas jump onto random positions inside the winning combinations, as many as fit, and multiply those wins or complete new ones as Wilds. On the last free spin every Panda left over after its wins drops onto a random losing position.
Five values that multiply each other
Each Panda substitutes for all ten paying symbols, and the multipliers in one win combine before it is paid, so an x2 and an x5 make x10. Five x10 Pandas on a line would multiply it by 100,000, the studio's own example, against a 10,000x cap.

Nothing in our base game came close. Across 497 base spins, first drops alone showed 290 Pandas: 125 at x2, 110 at x3, 42 at x4, 13 at x5 and not one at x10. Most multiplied lines held a single Panda, 30 held two and 3 held three. The biggest product was x40, an x4, an x2 and an x5 that raised a €0.60 line to €24.00 on spin 125.
Multiplied lines paid €458.20 in the base game, plain lines €76.20. The best spin without a bonus was 177 (29x), with an x5 Panda in four of its five winning lines and an x3 in three.
Super Cascades and a Panda that waits for its win
After a win, the winning lines go and so does every other symbol of the same kind on screen. New symbols drop in, and the chain ends on the first drop that pays nothing.

Once landed, a Panda stays put through the cascades of its own round until it joins a win, then leaves with the next cascade, so nothing carries over to the next paid spin. Our log caught 62 drops in which a Panda outside every win was still in place for the next cascade.
It takes three FS symbols landing together for Never Say No to Panda! and four for Jumping Pandas. Two showed on the first drop of 30 base spins, and every natural bonus in our log came from three.

Never Say No to Panda!: saved, then thrown at the lines
Pandas that do not fit keep waiting in the Collector, and our first natural round shows them building up. By free spin 5 it held an x2, an x3 and another x2, saved on spins 3 and 4, and all three came down onto that spin's four winning lines for €85.20.
Round 282 showed both rules. On free spin 8 a saved x4 and x2 joined an x2 that had just landed, x16 on a €6.00 line, worth €96.00. Free spin 10 dropped nothing that won, so the last saved Panda, an x4, came down on a losing square anyway and completed a line with an x3 for €7.20.

Bought outright at €200.00, our round paid €1.40 over four free spins. The fifth brought €82.40 with an x4 and two x2 Pandas on its lines. Four x2 Pandas were waiting when the eighth began, and three of them came down beside an x2 that had just landed, for €153.60.
The tenth spin added €4.80, for 121.1x the bet in all, €42.20 more than the price.

Jumping Pandas, where the first five never leave
Jumping Pandas comes with four FS symbols or a 200x purchase: 10 free spins in which the first five Wild Panda Multipliers to land turn sticky and stay until the end. On every free spin and cascade they jump to new random positions and take a new multiplier value. Our 500 spins never reached four FS symbols.
Three Collector rounds in 500 spins
All three landed on their own, at the €2.00 stake used for every spin.
Spin 71 was the best of the log at 84.8x, with the balance down to €4,942.60 after spin 70. The rounds at spins 128 and 282 paid 54.8x and 76.3x.
The balance's highest point, €5,225.80, came on spin 312 from two Panda lines, one of them under an x4, an x3 and another x3. We finished on €4,966.20, a 96.6% return on stakes. Bonuses aside, 497 spins brought back €534.40, or 54% of the money they took.

Here the base game returns 96.26% and each card a shade more, 96.27% to 96.34%. A casino may pick one of the 94.21%, 92.25% and 88.31% versions on Hacksaw's game page, and some countries get the game without its buy menu.

Multiplied here, summed in Get the CHEESE
In Get the CHEESE Jumping Wilds also move between cascades, but every server answer in our log there added their values, so four 3x Wilds on one cluster made 12x. Two x3 Pandas on one line make x9.
Closer still is Chaos Crew, a 5x5 line game whose Cranky Cat multipliers also multiply each other on a line. Hacksaw gives it volatility 5 out of 5, this game 3.
What the Collector cannot do
Four limits, as GAME INFO and Hacksaw's page set them.
Can Never Say No to Panda! run longer than 10 spins?
GAME INFO gives no way to add spins in either bonus, and all five rounds we saw (three logged, two filmed) ended after exactly 10.
What happens to a Panda when the Collector is full?
It is not saved. Ours never filled: three Pandas at most in the logged rounds and four in the bought one.
Does a base-game Panda stay for the next spin?
No. It can wait through the cascades of its own spin, but nothing carries over to the next one.
Is 100,000x a real payout?
No. It is the line multiplier five x10 Pandas would make, quoted on Hacksaw's page. The game pays 10,000x the bet at most and ends the round there.
Most of the money here comes through the Pandas. In our base game, lines with one in them earned about six times what plain lines did, and in each of the four bonus rounds we followed spin by spin, the best free spin was one where saved Pandas came back down. Hacksaw puts volatility at 3 out of 5, and our balance stayed inside a €283.20 band for all 500 spins.
